Lausanne is the town I have been living in for almost five years now. And before that, I lived at my parents' on the outskirts.
So you may as well say I have grown up here.

Cathedral, old university library, mountains.
Cathedral and Rumine		 Port of St.-Sulpice. This place is quite near the university grounds.
Port de St.-Sulpice		 Place du Nord. Near my judo school, and heavily clogged up at rush-hour.
Place du Nord		 Rue du Petit-Chêne. A very steep pedestrian street.

The 'Château' (castle) is where the state is run from - states are small in Switzerland.
Château		 The beautiful medieval cathedral of Lausanne.
